Citing steady growth, Ruppert Landscape adds to corporate staff

Ruppert Landscape announced this week the addition of four people to the staff of its corporate headquarters in Laytonsville, Maryland, attributing the move to steady growth.

The company employs about 1,100 people – more than 400 in Maryland alone, including its headquarters and three other operations there – and has branches along the East Coast from Pennsylvania to Georgia.

Ruppert Landscape announced this week the hiring of Amanda Timmins, Logan Minor, Nick Mursin and Camily Bishop in the corporate office.

Timmins, a resident of New Market, Maryland, was hired as a payroll specialist. She earned an associate’s degree in general studies from Montgomery College in 2014 and has over five years’ industry experience, having worked as a branch administrator, fleet specialist and telecommunications specialist at another industry organization before coming to Ruppert. Timmins will be responsible for payroll administration for all branches and the corporate staff.

 

 

Logan Minor

Logan Minor

Minor, a resident of Hampstead, Maryland, was hired as a junior developer with Ruppert Landscape’s information technology staff. He graduated from Towson University in June with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in project management and business analysis. As junior developer, he will be responsible for software development for existing systems and custom applications, website development and providing end-user administration and support.

 

Nick Mursin

Mursin, a resident of Frederick, Maryland, has been hired as a staff accountant. He graduated from Marymount University in 1993 with an MBA in accounting and finance. Mursin has more than 17 years’ experience in accounting, 11 of which were specific to the construction and landscaping industries.

 

 

Camily Bishop

Camily Bishop

Bishop, also a resident of Frederick, has been hired as communications coordinator. She is a 2013 graduate of Towson University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication with a dual concentration in public relations and advertising. She currently has more than two years of marketing experience. As communications coordinator, Bishop will be responsible for advancing the company’s social media presence, creating sharable content and assisting with a variety of marketing efforts, including event planning.
